I feel as though I have gone back to 1970 Quebec. Mounds of snow with a never ending blast of Winter due every day. I must say since living in Southern Ontario for over 40 years and choosing when to go back and visit family in Quebec has changed my perspective on the joy of snow.
Yes it is much like the old story we used to tell our kids, “I remember we used to walk to school when the snow was up to here!” Now kids get a ride to school most of the time and school is usually closed on days like we’ve had this Winter.

As I get older I certainly appreciate living in Ontario where snow is generally less and even better being able to travel South on an annual basis. So before you talk too much about the snow fallen here think about what they get in Quebec. It will help you feel better on the days you don’t have to dig out of your driveway. Happy shovelling!
