Food tastes better, the temperature is definitely warmer, the Quebec scenery certainly becomes much nicer, and of course the beauty of the Quebec language. Quebec is known for it’s wonderful country drives, scenic vistas, and amazing food. In fact you could create a road trip based on poutine alone since different parts of Quebec have different styles of the French dish. Paired with a hotdog this non fancy dish is a delicacy of the Province of Quebec.
What if you started that beautiful country drive on your motorcycle, one of the most popular travel styles in the Province? You’ve just cleaned it up after a long Winter in storage and the perfect spring day has come upon you. The sun is shining, it’s warm but not over bearing, and you have a small group of friends ready for adventure. You start off at your favourite bagel shop near Montreal to begin your adventure. Montreal bagels are definitely a must stop and favourite food of Quebec.
The winds in your face, your bike is driving like a well oiled machine, and the countryside is beautiful. The leaves are blossoming and the grass has rid itself of the cold icy snow. You arrive in a quaint small town you know that has a unique style of poutine with “avec salad” which is the famous poutine of french fries, gravy, but at this location they add coleslaw on top. Hours later you are winding your motorcycle through the winding hills of Charlevoix stopping at art galleries in the small towns to view art created by talented Quebec Artists. This area is a popular location as each season this area offers a different experience.
You end the day with a beautiful dinner in wonderful Quebec City. Reminiscing about the day and you remember why you love your motorcycle, your friends, the wonderful season of Spring, and the beautiful Province of Quebec.
