It’s always a proud time to be from Quebec but it gets even better when our National Hockey Teams are doing well in hockey. The Montreal Canadiens are dominating the playoff series and making every Quebec fan proud as they battle for the Stanley Cup. They are currently leading the series with the Carolina Hurricanes.
Montreal has always been a strong team from the days of Guy LeFleur and Maurice “Rocket” Richard, but have been in a rebuilding phase over the last few years. This year they have come back in fierce hockey competition and have taken the lead.
As if the Montreal Canadiens were not making the hockey world exciting enough we have to also give a shoutout to the women’s hockey team from Montreal the Victoires for winning the cup for their division.
Congratulations to the Montreal Victoires for winning the Women’s Division and “Go Habs Go” let’s show everyone what Canada and Quebec are made of. We wish you luck in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
